About the Programme

This fund will support research and development that builds knowledge and skills in an international context.  Additionally applicants can request funding to present and promote their work overseas. Support is available for:

1. Research and Development

This can cover the costs involved in a range of research/development activity including: international exchange visits; attendance at conferences, seminars, trade fairs; participation in international and European networks; exploratory visits to establish contacts/build new relationships.

Who Can Apply

Both Individuals and Organisations can apply to this fund.

Funding Available

In 2013/14 the total budget available is £180,000. Individual awards will range from £1,000 - £10,000.

2. Presentation and Touring of Work Overseas

This can cover the costs involved in performing, touring, translating and exhibiting existing work, including at recognised international showcases and festivals. 

Who Can Apply

Both Individuals and Organisations can apply to this fund.

Funding Available

In 2013/14 the total budget available is £400,000. Individual awards will range from £1,000 - £40,000.

There is no deadline for this fund. Applications are accepted at any time and applicants will be notified of the decision within 8 weeks of submitting an application.
